Anthony started playing golf at the age of 12 in his home town of Bangor North Wales and was a junior member of St Deniol and Conwy Golf Club, at the age of 14 Anthony moved to Flintshire and joined Old Padeswood Golf Club, where he represented the club in various national junior competitions, Anthony also represented Flintshire in various county matches. After attending Yale College Wrexham Anthony decided to take the step into Professional Golf.

In 2002 Anthony joined the Professional Team at Vicars Cross Golf Club where he began his PGA Training in 2004. Whilest working at Vicars Cross Anthony was involved in many aspects of the Professionals business including tuition, custom fit, golf retail, club repairs and club customisation.

Having spent three years at Vicars Cross in June 2005 Anthony took up the position of Teaching Professional at DeVere Carden where he graduated in 2007 as a qualified PGA Professional. As Teaching Professional at Carden Park Anthony has not only been involved in delivering instruction to adults but has also set up various junior lesson programmes. One of his key objectives was to introduce golf to as many primary schools as possible by carrying out the Mighty Masters Golf programme the launch pad to the nationally recognised Young Masters Golf.

Anthony also is the Teaching Professional to the Junior Section at Ruthin Pwll Glas Golf Club and regularly attending junior meetings and competitions throughout the season.

As with all PGA Professionals Anthony works hard to maintain his own game and regularly competes on the PGA North Region circuit.

Anthony looks forward to taking up the position at Flint Golf Club as PGA Club Professional. Anthony particularly looks forward to interacting with all members and visitors at Flint Golf Club and hopes that his professional expertise will help all golfers improve their game and reduce their handicap.
